So, here we go with the 8th match of the T20 Asia Cup 2016, which was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Sure it was a thrilling and important one! Scroll down to see which team took the victory!

In this 8th match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Maybe there were some extraordinary plans in Shahid Afridi’s mind. But well, the opening batsmen took too much pressure on themselves and that’s where they made a huge mistake. Khurram Manzoor was caught behind by the wicket-keeper when certainly was under pressure by the bowler. After that, Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Hafeez were taken out, and to be honest, umpire took a really bad decision of Hafeez. He wasn’t out! So, 3 early wickets putted a lot of pressure. Umar Akmal came on to the crease, but unfortunately, he didn’t stayed much. So, Bangladesh successfully demolished the top-order of Pakistan which made it easy for the bowlers to restrict the batting team to a low target. But the credit goes to Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed who built fabulous partnership to take the game on for Pakistan, otherwise it was all-over to a low chase. Still Pakistan gave the target of 130 to Bangladesh. 50 50 chances for both the teams, and Pakistan now have to perform with their bowling lineup. Let’s see how it goes.

Mohammad Amir Celebrates A Wicket!

In the 2nd innings, Bangladesh begin their game quiet comfortably, but earlier, Tamim Iqbal’s wicket was taken by Mohammad Irfan and that’s where the pressure built. But Soumya Sarkar was there and he played an outstanding knock to pull-off the pressure from Bangladesh and that’s where he takes the whole credit. He played with a responsibility, while other of his partners were at least supporting him well to achieve the milestone of victory against Pakistan. This time, the bowling-side of Pakistan was facing bit complications but that’s maybe because Bangladesh was playing on their home-ground pitch and they knew all about the pitch. But steadily, the game was changing and Pakistani bowlers worked really hard to stop the batting-team as much as they can. Much credit goes to Mohammad Amir for his mind-boggling bowling spells. Unfortunately, in the second-last over of Mohammad Sami, Pakistan lost the game just because of the 2 No-Balls from Mohammad Sami which truly cost them the game. Batting-team took full advantage of his bowling and made it a piece of cake to win this in the end. Mahmudullah was on strike and on the very first delivery of the last over, he hit a winning FOUR. Bangladesh won by 5 wickets and literally, kicked Pakistan out of the Asia Cup, this time. Really sad for Pakistan fans who were exactly not expecting this from Pakistan. But it all turned really good for Bangladesh and they’ll be playing the final against India. WOW!
