So, this is the most anticipated and most-awaited match of this tournament; between India and Pakistan. This Super 10 match was absolutely a thriller to watch as like always between these two rivalries. Now let’s see who wins this time!

In this match, India won the toss and once again MS Dhoni took a clever decision to bowl first. The pitch was slippery due to the rain and it was a good chance to restrict Pakistan to a low score. The game was also reduced to 18-overs only. It’s been a history that Pakistan hasn’t lost a single game against India in Eden Gardens Ground, Kolkata, and India knew about that pretty much. Well, Pakistani batsmen faced too much difficulty to face the ball because the ball was spinning incredibly from the spinners. When MS Dhoni realized this, he began to bowl spinners against Pakistani batsmen, cleverly. The ball was out of their judgement, and even Shahid Afridi came on number 3, but he got failed to hit the ball because of too much spin and he has to go earlier. The pitch conditions were absolutely unexpected, but still Pakistan managed to score 118 runs in 18 overs in such a crucial situation. Their batting order had difficulties but still managed to score at least something to put India under pressure. But, credit actually goes to MS Dhoni for his captaincy and decisions. Bringing in Jadeja, Ashwin and Raina for bowling spells was a really good option because of the pitch conditions. If the pitch would’ve been well for batting, we could’ve seen a big thriller from Pakistan’s batting order. Let’s see how India works it out!

In the 2nd innings, India took a good start but lost their openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan earlier. Actually, Shahid Afridi’s decision of playing 4 seamers in this match wasn’t a good decision, but nobody knew how the pitch conditions would be. Shahid Afridi had lack of spinners at that stage, and India took great benefit of it as the bowling from the seamers wasn’t working in a way to make it much difficult for India to reach the target. But still Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Sami made it quiet troublesome. Well, it was Virat Kohli who exactly stayed on the crease, as expected, with Yuvraj Singh. They both made a great partnership of 61 runs, then it was Kohli’s innings with MS Dhoni to finish the game. Virat Kohli played an outstanding match-winning knock of 55 runs. Finally, taking benefit of the lack of spinners, India took a great victory over Pakistan in World T20. India won by 6 wickets with even 13 balls still remaining. WOW! It was absolutely an outstanding game. Virat Kohli was declared as Man of the Match for tremendous match-winning knock. Terrific game it have been! Congratulations to Indian cricket team for their win!

In the end, it is clear that the streak of India defeating Pakistan in World Cups continues. This time, the pitch conditions made it difficult for Pakistan to win; but India made it once again. Overall, Pakistan needs to read the pitch first and then go according to it. They’ve made a mistake this time. India was in pressure too, but credit goes to MS Dhoni for his captaincy and Virat Kohli for his knock.
