Here is the 27th Super 10 match of the big ongoing World T20 tournament; played between South Africa and West Indies. This tournament is turning out to be very interesting and let’s see who takes victory in this match. Scroll down to find out how it goes!

In this match, West Indies won the toss and elected to field first. Well, West Indies is in mood to chase. Let’s see how it goes for South Africa. Now, South Africa began their opening with Hashim Amla and Quinton De Kock. Unfortunately, Hashim Amla got dismissed very earlier and then on, their wickets were falling quickly. Only Quinton De Kock was there who gave hope to South Africa, otherwise it was all over quiet earlier. Their all-big partnership was just between Quinton De Kock and David Wiese of 50 runs. In the end, with 8 wickets down, South Africa only reached 122 runs score. Dwayne Bravo and Chris Gayle took 4 wickets together but their economy was much better than others and it was all fantastic bowling spell from their side. Now the target is quiet low for West Indies. Let’s see how South Africa defends it.

South Africa’s Fall Of Wickets: 1-1 (Amla, 0.3 ov), 13-2 (du Plessis, 1.6 ov), 20-3 (Rossouw, 2.6 ov), 46-4 (de Villiers, 7.4 ov), 47-5 (Miller, 8.2 ov), 97-6 (de Kock, 15.4 ov), 112-7 (Wiese, 17.2 ov), 122-8 (Phangiso, 19.6 ov)

In the 2nd innings, West Indies opened with Johnson Charles and Chris Gayle. Now like South Africa, West Indies lost earlier wicket too of the danger man, Chris Gayle. But Charles was still there and the partnership built up between Andre Fletcher and Charles. After Fletcher’s wicket, it was Marlon Samuels who came in. Charles and Samuels made a good partnership of 32 runs. But seemingly, it wasn’t turning that easier for them to chase the target. Imran Tahir putted pressure on West Indies as he took the wickets of Andre Russel and Darren Sammy consecutively in the 17th over of the innings. West Indies got under pressure when Samuels superb innings ended at the wrong time. But still in the last over, Carlos Brathwaite and Denesh Ramdin were out there and they won it for their team. They did it amazingly in the last over and West Indies won by 3 wickets with 2 balls remaining. South Africa played really well, but unfortunate for them that they have to face exit now. West Indies made it to the semi-finals. Congratulations to West Indies! Better Luck for South Africa next time.
