This is another good Super 10 match of the tournament between Afghanistan and South Africa. Actually, the entertainment from the batting-side was very much joyous to watch. It was definitely an terrific match. South Africa is a tough side! Did Afghanistan won this match? Scroll down to find out!

In this match of the big T20 tournament, South Africa won the toss and smartly decided to bat first. They’ve performed brilliantly in their previous contest against England, but they lost that one. But this time maybe they can cover things up! Well, Quinton De Kock and Hashim Amla opened first, unfortunately Hashim Amla was removed quiet earlier. Then, the partnership was made between Faf Du Plessis and De Kock of 65 runs. It helped South Africa to pick up their game and then, it was AB De Villiers who played outstanding aggressive knock of 64 runs and he made a great partnership with JP Duminy. Outstanding! They really astonished Afghani bowlers with a huge target which seemed impossible to chase like the last time, but nothing could be said now. South Africa gave the target of 210 to Afghanistan. Now let’s see how Afghanistan works it out on this pure batting-pitch. Can they achieve such a huge target like England did?

In the 2nd innings, Afghanistan took a great start with their opening pair of Mohammad Shahzad and Noor Ali Zadran. They made a great partnership that built a hope for Afghanistan that they can achieve such a huge target. But when both the openers were gone, scoring speed became quiet low as the wickets were going down. Chris Morris bowled really well in the innings and took 4 wickets that really putted a pressure on Afghanistan. Their batting order wasn’t staying any much longer, but still keeping up with the scoring. In the end, South Africa won by 37 runs and the credit goes to Chris Morris for his impressive spell of bowling. He was declared as Man of the Match. The interesting part was that Afghanistan even managed to score 172 runs which was not enough for a chase, but it’s quiet a great score. South Africa can’t easily be defeated! Congratulations to South Africa for their interesting win.
