In ski jumping, there is a specially constructed take-off ramp from which ski jumpers jump as higher as possible and fly down the hill. Former Austrian ski jumper who began his career in 1997. Thomas Horl won a Alpine Cup at the age of 15, in 1996. He even made a world record of highest ski jump of 224.5 meters, which was broken on the very next day by Andreas Goldberger who jumped 225 meters high. 6. Anders Fannemel
Norwegian ski jumper who currently holds a world record of a longest ski jump of 251.5. He began skiing when he was just 14 years old and that’s quiet late as compared to the other professional ski jumpers. He made his debut in 2008, participating in the Continental Cup where he held 7th position twice for 2 days. He is been fantastic so far and quiet a successful ski jumper in the world.
5. Matti Hautamaki
Most successful Finnish ski jumper we have here. Matti Hautamaki has won numerous individual skiing world cup competitions, numerous medals at World Championship and in Winter Olympics and even have won Nordic Skiing Tournament twice. He has achieved 4-times world record of longest ski flying distances. He currently holds the record of 214.5 meters distance in ski flying.
