The 15th match was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. The first inning was played by Qalandars, as Zalmi won the toss and elected to field. Now, their openers didn’t worked well as Chris Gayle was taken-out on a very first ball he faced. But Cameron Delport and Umar Akmal played truly sensational knock for their team which boosted up the score to give a defendable target. They managed to give the target of 165 to Peshawar Zalmi, and it was absolutely defendable, but depends on the bowling lineup always.
In the 2nd inning, Peshawar Zalmi worked really hard, but still there were some flaws in their batting lineup this time. Still, Tamim Iqbal and Dawid Malan worked much to take the team towards the victory but it was kind of unfortunate or mistakes to lose quick wickets. Nobody stayed for long to take the victory and the credit goes to the bowlers of Lahore Qalandars. Appreciated bowling-spells! In the last over, Wahab Riaz tried his best, even he hit a six and really build a pressure for the bowling team, but failed to win the match. It wasn’t his fault really! Lahore Qalandars won the match by 4 runs. Too close!
