PSL 2016: 19th Match, Peshawar Zalmi vs Karachi Kings [Video Highlights]

Today is the day to decide which team has to go through and which will go home. Well, it will be decided between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars. Both of these teams are very low with their reputation in the tournament. Well, here is the 19th match of the tournament between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. The 1st innings were batted by Karachi Kings and their opening worked well for them, especially Simmons played brilliantly. Despite of losing wickets quiet quickly, they managed to put a defendable target on board. The bowlers of Peshawar Zalmi worked well, but still the batting-team score 150+, which is 50-50 for both the teams. It is achievable, but also quiet defendable in 20-overs format. Karachi Kings gave the target of 153 to Peshawar Zalmi.

In the 2nd innings, Peshawar Zalmi took huge pressure as they lost two early wickets of Dawid Malan and Mohammad Hafeez. It turned almost in favor of Karachi Kings until Brad Hodge came and suddenly, became a nightmare for the bowlers. He doesn’t missed any chance of poor bowling and comfortably played fabulous innings for his team. No doubt, Karachi Kings were winning this game as they were bowling tightly against the batsmen, but Hodge kept up with his batting calmly and played a tremendous knock. Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 5 wickets with 9 balls remaining. WOW!
